Extended Health Benefits
Many extended health plans cover physiotherapy or massage therapy. Please check with your insurance plan before your first visit to learn more about your coverage.
Some questions to ask include:
- Amount per treatment
- Maximum amount per year
- Whether you need to submit a doctor’s referral
**Please note: Alberta Health Care DOES NOT cover the cost of physical therapy or massage therapy treatments at Thrive Therapy. We do not have a contract to treat WCB claims.
You will be responsible for any outstanding amount not covered by your health benefit plan. We accept cash, cheque, debit, or credit card.

** Note: In cases where the insurance provider declines a claim when we submit it for direct billing it is the responsibility of the Insured Individual to pay for treatment and contact their insurance provider for reimbursement.

Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved just for you.
A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a large gap in the therapist’s day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.
Patients who provide less than 24 hours’ notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the scheduled appointment.
