What To Expect

What to Expect at Your Physical Therapy Visit in the time of Covid-19

In keeping with changes to AHS Covid policies, we will no longer be requiring you to fill out pre-screening. However, we do ask that you reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing significant, worsening symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat and/or congestion.

Please note: You will be charged a fee for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

Please consider the following:

You will be required to wear a mask for the duration of your time in the clinic. Please bring a disposable mask; we will have some available if you forget. (If you are unable or unwilling to mask we are happy to arrange a virtual video treatment)

You are welcome to use our waiting room. To reduce crowding there is also a comfortable seating area just outside our door.

On arrival, we ask that you immediately proceed to our hand sanitizer station to disinfect your hands.

Treatments at our clinic are provided in private rooms and all rooms have high-quality HEPA air purifiers.

Our therapists follow guidelines set out by Alberta's CMOH, the CPTA and the MTAA. This includes masking, hand hygiene and disinfection of all contact surfaces with products from Health Canada.
