Our experienced Physiotherapists Jen Kiesman and Krystal Mangan have over 25 years of combined experience providing physiotherapy in Edmonton and between them have a variety of approaches to help solve your pain and get you back to thriving! They both believe strongly that effective treatment requires focused time between the patient and the therapist and as such their booking are all one-on-one.
Jen’s IMS dry needling treatments are an effective (and relatively gentle) way to help you resolve persistent pain such as an achy neck and shoulders or a stiff and sore low back and hips. She will take the time to get to the root of the problem and teach you about your condition, along with strategies that you can use to keep feeling good long term.
Krystal is passionate about providing Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy in South Edmonton. Her focus is on helping women take care of their bodies through the changes of pregnancy and postpartum periods while dealing with things like pelvic pain, incontinence, diastasis recti and prolapse. Did you know that the postpartum period technically includes the rest of a woman’s life following childbirth, and that often middle age is a time when specific Women’s Health physiotherapy treatment is needed?
Our Massage Therapists Matt Kiesman and Shauna Falls are both Registered Massage Therapists who graduated from the 2200 hour massage program at MacEwan University. They have a combined 20+ years of experience, so are experienced in dealing with a wide variety of conditions including acute injuries, chronic pain and stress. They pride themselves in taking the time to get to the root of the problem and work from there to help you improve how you feel and move. Shauna also has a keen interest in pre and post-natal massage therapy as well.
Somehow it feels like we just celebrated our one year anniversary at Thrive Therapy, and yet the Christmas season is already upon us! So we would like to take the time to thank those of you that have visited us at Thrive and to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year!
